DESCRIPTION:Leipzig School of Radical Pelvic Surgery:\nMarch 18 – 20\, August 26 – 28 & September 02 – 04 2024. \nThe Leipzig School was established in 2005 by Michael Höckel\, M.D.\, Ph.D. with the objective to provide insights concerning locoregional tumor spread deduced from embryonic development and to demonstrate their translation into a new principle of surgical radicality for the treatment of lower female genital tract cancer. \nThe courses are addressed to advanced gynecologic surgeons but also to colleagues that are interested in getting to know the new operations. \nThe courses comprise lectures\, anatomical workshops and live surgery in an interactive format for a small group of international participants. The limited number of attending colleagues ensures intensive learning and in-depth discussion with the faculty members. \nAs the Central Event Management of the University Hospital Leipzig\, we are supporting Bahriye Aktas\, M.D. and Michael Höckel\, M.D.\, Ph.D. of the Department of Gynecology\, in the preparation and implementation of this event. \nRegistration website: http://www.ukl-live.de/leipzig-school
