Long Term International Fellowship
Conquer Cancer The ASCO Foundation
The Long-term International Fellowship (LIFe) provides early-career oncologists in low- to middle-income countries (LMCs) the support and resources needed to advance their training by deepening their relationship with a mentor in the United States, Canada, or European Union. During the one-year fellowship, the recipients receive valuable training and experience, which they use to effect change in cancer care in their home country.
The LIFe is a one-year grant totaling $115,000 to pay for personnel, research, and travel expenses including travel to attend the Conquer Cancer Grants and Awards Ceremony at the ASCO Annual Meeting. The number of LIFe grants in each funding cycle is not predetermined by Conquer Cancer. Awards are given based on individual merit and availability of funds.
