Purpose
The goal of this network is to provide early career members with a supportive network of peers and mentors to discuss publishing and writing as critical components to career development. The network will also allow group members the opportunity to develop and promote research projects.

Eligibility
This network is open to IGCS members dedicated to the study of gynecologic cancers who are currently enrolled in training in an area related to gynecological cancer or who have completed training within the last five years and care for women with gynecological cancer.

Participation
The network will convene via video conference, online discussion boards and in-person meetings at the IGCS Annual Global Meeting.

Joining the Network

Eligible early career members may request to join the network by logging into the IGCS MEMBER CENTER and clicking GROUPS in the top toolbar, then click +Join Group button. A message will be sent to an IGCS staff member who will verify your eligibility and you will receive an approved or denied message, depending on your completion year of training.

Please be sure your graduation year is filled out in your IGCS Member profile as this will determine your eligibility for the group.

Join us on WhatsApp
IGCS has formed the Early Career Research & Publications Network WhatsApp group. This group allows us to increase our connections with each of our members from around the world. We share content, recent studies, information about upcoming events, opportunities within the field of gynecologic oncology, and can answer any questions you may have in the WhatsApp group as well. The group is moderated by the Early Career Junior Faculty Mentors; however, anyone is welcome to post.

To join the WhatsApp group, you must be a member of the IGCS Early Career Research & Publications Network using the instructions above. Once you are a member, please email rosie.stephans@igcs.org to ask for the link to join.

Mentors

The volunteer mentors have previous and current experience in career development, mentorship, publishing and scientific presentation. The mentors will communicate regularly with the network to stimulate research ideas, provoke and moderate discussions and connect network members.
