Symposia at Collaborative Meetings 

The IGCS Education Committee identifies opportunities for IGCS to conduct symposia at educational courses and scientific meetings in all parts of the world to share cutting-edge technology for therapeutic use and disseminate standards of care for resource stratified regions.

Gynecologic Oncology Global Curriculum and Mentorship Program

Currently in the planning phase, the goal of this program is to provide a structured curriculum, training and mentorship to physicians practicing in low and middle-income regions of the world that do not have a formal training program available.

Online Education 

The new IGCS website offers a members-only education portal that includes surgical videos, recorded presentations, blogs and other content developed by the IGCS Education Committee. IGCS welcomes industry partners to support online educational programs.

“Lunchtime Learnings” at the IGCS Biennial Meeting 

IGCS Biennial Meeting Scientific Committee will develop educational content for “Lunchtime Learning” sessions which include state-of-the-art topics in therapeutics, diagnostics and other aspects of gynecologic care.

Awareness and Patient Education

IGCS is committed to providing health education to help patients learn about gynecologic cancers and assist patients and their families in gaining knowledge about their disease and become as informed as possible. IGCS has partnered with the Gynecologic Cancer Intergroup (GCIG), advocacy groups and industry sponsors to provide education directed at patients, their families and significant others. Since 2012, a Patient Summit has been held during the IGCS Biennial Meetings offering information regarding state-of-the-art treatment and therapeutics, the latest clinical trial developments, quality of life and wellness issues.
