It is our great pleasure to invite you to join us for the Annual Global Meeting of the International Gynecologic Cancer Society (IGCS 2020) to be held from September 10-12, 2020 in Rome, Italy. IGCS 2020 will provide you with the opportunity to learn about the latest clinical advances as well as international developments in research, practice and treatment for women with gynecological cancer.
The multi-disciplinary meeting includes partnerships from international societies, regional societies and specialty societies to further internationalize the meeting. IGCS has teamed up with the local regional society, Società Italiana di Oncologia Ginecologica (SIOG), to collaborate on a comprehensive program that covers the latest, cutting edge science including innovative developments in surgery, imaging, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and pathology.
The 2020 IGCS Scientific Program Committee is comprised of international experts that produce a schedule full of premier educational sessions, grade and select the scientific abstracts, and promote the meeting to leaders and colleagues in their regions. The meeting will focus on presenting state-of-the-art lectures, debates, region-specific topics, interactive sessions, and the opportunity to exchange ideas.
The famous expression “all roads lead to roma” still echoes today, but in new and more colorful ways. Rome was the first great metropolis that humanity ever knew. The result of 3000 years of ad hoc urban development, Rome’s cityscape includes ancient icons such as the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Pantheon recalling the city’s golden age as caput mundi (capital of the world). St Peter’s Basilica towers over the Vatican, telling the history as seat of the Catholic Church. Rome is an enchanting city where you’ll discover a romantic blend of culture and history spiced up with vibrant streets and nightlife.
We look forward to your participation in IGCS 2020 and to welcoming you to Rome.
