DonateHospital General San Juan de Dios, is is one of the two major hospitals in the Guatemalan public health system and the only one that provides free gynecological cancer care to the population. It has a total capacity of 940 beds and is considered a center for referral across the country.

Dr. Pareja is a gynecologic oncologist in Colombia. Dr. Pareja was a receipient of the 2008 IGCS Travelling Scholarship and completed a clinical observership at MD Anderson Cancer Center. He is a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Minimally Invasive Gynecology and serves on the Senior Editorial Board of the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer. Dr. Pareja is also a member of the IGCS Council as the Central, South and North America representative.
