The IGCS Annual Global Meeting

Accelerating Global Impact, Year After Year

Since our first biennial meeting in Amsterdam in 1987, the IGCS Global Meeting has served as a cornerstone of international collaboration in gynecologic oncology. For more than three decades, these gatherings brought the global community together every two years to share science, strengthen networks, and shape the future of women’s cancer care.

In 2019, we transitioned to an annual format, beginning with the meeting in Rio de Janeiro—a milestone that marked a new era of momentum and opportunity. Now held every year in a different part of the world, the IGCS Annual Global Meeting delivers cutting-edge science, clinical education for the multidisciplinary members of the care team, and collaborative exchange to our members and delegates.

Regional Rotation Supports Our Mission to
  • Promote global inclusivity by reaching diverse members, especially in low- and middle-income countries.
  • Showcase local innovation and spotlight regional disparities in care.
  • Strengthen regional networks by connecting local clinicians and researchers with international peers.
  • Enhance accessibility by reducing travel and visa barriers for delegates.
  • Expand awareness of IGCS and its programs in emerging regions and among new audiences.
