At IGCS, we believe that volunteering is a vital way to create a positive impact on communities and make meaningful contributions beyond one’s own practice or country. Wherever you live, each of us has the opportunity to help improve the quality of life for women with gynecological cancers and to raise the standard of care worldwide. Volunteering is one of the most powerful avenues through which professionals can contribute to this cause. Our goal is to provide opportunities for our members to contribute to the IGCS mission at whatever level of commitment they desire.

How you can get involved:

1. Provide guidance to professionals and trainees in low-resourced areas

2. Participate in the development of year-round education

3. Become a reviewer for the International Journal of Gynecological Cancer

4. Contribute to the IGCS Annual Meeting program

5. Build relationships, find professional advice and learn from each other by joining one of IGCS communities

5. Join colleagues in building a global registry for rare tumor cases

6. Host a member to observe at your institution, help with planning or hosting short surgical courses, or be a part of training in minimally invasive surgery.
