Purpose
The IGCS Research Committee advances global gynecologic cancer research by providing strategic direction for collaborative studies, data collection, and member-driven initiatives across high, middle, and low resource settings worldwide.

About the Committee 
Operating under the IGCS Board of Directors, the Research Committee unites oncology thought leaders, regional champions, and strategic partners through focused Work Groups, connecting members across the globe to build the infrastructure, partnerships, and shared data systems needed to generate meaningful evidence in gynecologic oncology.

Featured Initiative: The IGCS Rare Tumor Registry
Currently in development

The IGCS Rare Tumor Registry is a global research initiative being developed to improve our understanding of rare gynecologic cancers through international collaboration and standardized data collection. The registry aims to bring together clinical, treatment, outcomes, and pathology data to identify patterns, address important research questions, and support future studies.

The registry will initially focus on two pilot disease groups. These groups will help establish the registry framework and inform the development of additional rare tumor disease groups in the future.
