ICCP Map Launch
The IGCS is proud to partner with The ICCP in the launch of a new global map of national cervical cancer elimination strategies and an expanded resource hub designed to support countries working toward the WHO 90:70:90 targets by 2030, as a meaningful step on the path to elimination of cervical cancer globally.
2026 Board of Directors Candidates
The IGCS 2026 Board of Directors election is open from May 4 – June 5, 2026. IGCS members eligible to vote were emailed a ballot from third-party election software, Simply Voting. Read about the candidates here.

We are pleased to announce that the Brazilian Gynecologic Oncology Group – EVA Group– has officially joined the International Gynecologic Cancer Society’s Strategic Alliance Partner Program. Founded in 2013, EVA is a respected, mission-driven, nonprofit association dedicated to advancing gynecologic cancer care across Brazil through education, research, prevention, awareness and comprehensive patient support.
Introducing an exciting education opportunity, GTD Echo! This unique program will provide a comprehensive opportunity to deepen knowledge and advance best practices in the diagnosis, management, and research of gestational trophoblastic disease (GTD), particularly gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN).
Its membership renewal season and the perfect time to join IGCS if you are not currently a member. All dues payments are applied to the 2026 membership term. IGCS provides year-round education, mentorship and training opportunities, and most recently, advocacy and outreach programming in support of our mission.
We are pleased to share important news for our global community. A major new international study, “Experiences of Women with Ovarian Cancer in 22 Low- and Middle- Income Countries (Every Woman Study™ LMIC): a Cross-sectional Study,” was published today in the The Lancet Obstetrics, Gynaecology, & Women’s Health.

The PRIME Fellowship is a 2-year, virtual postdoctoral research program led by Drs. Alexander Melamed and J. Alejandro Rauh-Hain. Designed to build global research capacity in gynecologic oncology, this fellowship offers advanced mentorship in innovative statistical methods, hands-on work with real-world oncology datasets, and the opportunity to produce high-impact research alongside leading investigators.
