We are excited to announce the re-branding of IGCS’ year-round educational offerings under the moniker “IGCS Education360.” This concept represents the Education Committee’s commitment to providing comprehensive education to “complete the circle” of learning for our members around the world..

In this episode, Dr. Robert Coleman is joined by Prof. Donal Brennan and Prof. Sudha Sundar to discuss the problem of disparities in ovarian cancer care and IGCS’ newest initiative to unite clinicians, researchers, and advocates across the globe to improve outcomes for women diagnosed with ovarian cancer everywhere.

Earlier this year, Dr. George Larry Maxwell, the founder of Globe-athon, approached the IGCS with a proposal to unify their network of physicians and advocates focused on gynecologic cancers worldwide by blending and integrating our programs.

IGCS is proud of our strategic alliance partnership with the Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan and excited to highlight this flourishing partnership which also includes Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

In honor of Gynecologic Cancer Awareness Month, we’d like to take this opportunity to highlight some of our advocacy programs and celebrate Dicey Scroggins, the IGCS Director of Global Outreach & Engagement who celebrated her 25th ovarian cancer survivorship anniversary on September 19th.

We are pleased to announce that the Gynecologic Oncology Branch of the Brazilian Society of Surgical Oncology has joined the IGCS Strategic Alliance Partner Program. BSSO is a nonprofit organization that supports its members in a wide range of activities including education, research, and leadership in multidisciplinary cancer care.

The Annual IGCS Distinguished Advocacy Award recognizes advocates and/or advocacy organizations that provide active, dedicated service to patients-survivors, families, caregivers, and communities—at a local, regional, or international level. The nomination deadline has passed.

We are pleased to announce that The Society of Gynecologic Oncology of Canada (GOC) has joined the IGCS Strategic Alliance Partnership. IGCS and GOC are aligned in many ways including the GOC’s purpose, to improve the care of women with or at risk of gynecologic cancer by raising standards of practice, encouraging ongoing research, promoting innovation in prevention, care and discovery, and advancing awareness.
